Big Spoon Roasters is a nut roaster based in Durham, North Carolina. They have been in business since January of 2011, and  believe that food contributes to our happiness, health, and environment. Currently, Big Spoon Roasters exists mainly on the web, making it hard for consumers to get a hands-on, personal connection with the brand.  I decided to create a space that would highlight the values of Big Spoon Roasters while providing a way for visitors to interact with the brand in a more meaningful way. In this retail environment, based on an existing retail space in St. Louis, visitors can enjoy a cafe environment, retail space and participate in workshops using Big Spoon Roaster products. These varied activities appeal to a wide audience, and offer multiple levels of brand engagement to strengthen Big Spoon Roasters’ connection with its customers.
